Rose Milk Cooler

Directions

  1. 1Clean roses and remove the stem.
  2. 2Add the cleaned roses to a pot of water and let it simmer.
  3. 3Meanwhile, soak some sabza seeds (or chia seeds) and badam pisen (gonkatira).
  4. 4Add some grated beetroot to the rose mixture to deepen the pink color.
  5. 5Strain the rose water from the pot.
  6. 6Add the strained rose water back to the pot along with agave syrup or jaggery syrup.
  7. 7Once the mixture reduces, switch off the flame.
  8. 8Add lemon juice and rose water to the reduced mixture and let it cool down.
  9. 9To make the cooler, mix together the prepared rose syrup with some almond milk.
  10. 10Mix together all the ingredients along with some ice.
