Directions
- 1Make the lemon sugar by rubbing 1 1/2 cups (300 grams) of white sugar with 3 tbsp of lemon zest between your fingers.
- 2Chop 1 cup (170 grams) of white chocolate and add it to a bowl with 3/4 cup (170 grams) of unsalted butter.
- 3Microwave the chocolate and butter until melted.
- 4Add the lemon sugar to the melted chocolate and butter, and whisk until combined.
- 5Add 3 large eggs and whisk.
- 6Add 3 tbsp of lemon juice and mix to combine.
- 7Add 2 1/4 cups (287 grams) of all-purpose flour and 1/4 tsp of salt, and whisk until a smooth batter is formed.
- 8Pour the batter into an 8x8 inch square baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- 9Bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes, or until the top is set.
- 10To make the lemon glaze, whisk 1 cup (125 grams) of powdered sugar with 1-3 tbsp of lemon juice until combined.
- 11Pour the glaze over the brownies and add some lemon zest to the top.
- 12Let the brownies rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
