American Buttercream Recipe

Directions
- 1Add one cup of shortening to the mixer.
- 2Add two sticks of soft butter, one salted and one unsalted.
- 3Cream shortening and butter together for a couple of minutes.
- 4Slowly add in two pounds of powdered sugar.
- 5Add four tablespoons of milk.
- 6Add one tablespoon of vanilla.
- 7Cream all ingredients together until smooth.
- 8Use the frosting to frost cakes, cupcakes, or cookie cakes.
