Directions

1Blend cream cheese, half a container of Cool Whip, and powdered sugar.
2Place mixture in the bottom of a pie plate.
3Refrigerate.
4Combine brown sugar, cubed butter, Karo syrup, pecans, a pinch of salt, and vanilla in a sauce pan.
5Add an egg.
6Stir together and bring to a boil.
7Pour pecan mixture over the base.
