Tips
This recipe is Gluten Free, Nut Free, and Vegetarian.
Using the slow cooker doesn't heat up the kitchen and is ideal for summer.
It's a mostly hands-off way to prepare side dishes with minimal time and effort.
The slow cooker makes cooking corn for a crowd easy, and you don’t have to babysit corn in a pot of boiling water.
Consider adding freshly ground black pepper or chopped fresh herbs such as parsley, basil, or chives for topping.
Garlic butter plus fresh herbs would be amazing as a topping idea.
If using a smaller slow cooker, you may need to cut the corn in halves or fourths to fit them in.
You can cook on high for 2-3 hours, or low for 3-4 hours, or until the corn is tender.
Serve this crockpot corn as an easy BBQ side dish with grilled chicken or super tender slow cooker flank steak.

Discard the cooking liquid after cooking the corn.
