Jerk Chicken Pasta

Directions

  1. 1Pound out some scotch bonnet pepper.
  2. 2Add the scotch bonnet pepper to cubed up chicken breast along with minced green onion, white vinegar, soy sauce, a couple spices, and some fresh thyme.
  3. 3Let the chicken marinate for as long as you like.
  4. 4Fry up the chicken in a hot pan until it's golden and almost all the way cooked through.
  5. 5In the same pan, fry up some bell peppers until they're slightly charred.
  6. 6For the sauce, sauté green onion, scotch bonnet pepper, and minced garlic.
  7. 7Sprinkle in a little bit of flour and cook that for about a minute.
  8. 8Pour in your heavy cream.
  9. 9Season the sauce with the same spices you used for the chicken.
  10. 10Toss in a small bunch of fresh thyme.
  11. 11Let the sauce simmer for a couple minutes until thickened.
  12. 12Add the cooked chicken along with the sautéed peppers back into the sauce.
  13. 13Finish it off with pecorino romano and fresh mozzarella.
  14. 14Toss some cooked pasta in the sauce.
  15. 15Garnish with black pepper and green onions.
