Carefully place the scallops in a single layer, making sure not to crowd the pan.

Let them sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms.

Flip the scallops to cook the other side until golden.

Set them aside on a plate.

Reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter along with minced garlic to the skillet.

Stir for about a minute until fragrant.

Drizzle in a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, letting the sauce come together with a zesty aroma.

Return the scallops to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over them, making sure each one is coated.

Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and extra freshness.
