Homemade Ranch Dressing

Directions

  1. 1Add one cup of dried milk into a mason jar.
  2. 2Add eight teaspoons of dried parsley into the jar.
  3. 3Add eight teaspoons of garlic powder into the jar.
  4. 4Add eight teaspoons of onion granules (or powder) into the jar.
  5. 5Add four teaspoons of dill into the jar.
  6. 6Add four teaspoons of chives into the jar.
  7. 7Add one teaspoon of ground black pepper into the jar.
  8. 8Add one teaspoon of salt into the jar.
  9. 9Stir the dry ingredients together. This dry mix can be stored in the fridge.
  10. 10To make the dressing, put about one to two tablespoons of sour cream in a separate container.
  11. 11Add some mayonnaise to the sour cream.
  12. 12Add a little milk to thin the dressing, if desired.
  13. 13Add some of the prepared dry ranch mix to the wet ingredients.
  14. 14Stir until the desired consistency and flavor are achieved.

Tips

  • The dry mix can be kept in the fridge for months.
  • Adjust the amount of milk to achieve desired consistency.
  • The dressing will thicken slightly after sitting for a couple of minutes.
  • For a thicker ranch, do not add milk.
