Easy Cheesy Ground Beef Taco Rice Bake

Directions

  1. 1Add a pound of ground beef to a hot oiled pan, break it up, brown it, and drain it.
  2. 2Add a packet's worth of your favorite taco seasoning and cook it per the instructions.
  3. 3Once the taco meat is done, set it aside.
  4. 4Grab a 9x13 baking dish.
  5. 5Add two packets of taco rice, one cup of chicken broth, and one jar of salsa to the baking dish.
  6. 6Fill the empty salsa jar with water and pour it into the baking dish.
  7. 7Give everything in the baking dish a quick stir.
  8. 8Sprinkle the cooked taco meat on top of the mixture in the baking dish.
  9. 9Cover the mixture with a bag of Mexican cheese.
  10. 10Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  11. 11Throw it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes.
  12. 12When it comes out of the oven, carefully remove the foil.
  13. 13Get a tub of store-bought queso and heat it per the instructions in the microwave.
  14. 14Pour the heated queso right on top of the bake.
  15. 15Throw the dish back in the oven for about five more minutes.
  16. 16When it comes out this time, it's done.
  17. 17If you have cilantro, sprinkle it on top to make it look fancy.
  18. 18Serve by scooping up a big bite with a fork.
