Directions

1Combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5-10 min until foamy.
2Add egg, mashed banana, and melted butter, mix. Stir in salt and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.
3Knead the dough for 8-10 min.
4Place in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-1½ hrs or until doubled.
5For the filling, mix the soft butter, brown sugar, mashed banana, cinnamon, vanilla, and cornstarch until combined/spreadable.
6Roll dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
7Spread the filling evenly all over. Scatter some small pieces of bananas on top.
8Slice 8 pieces then roll them each up tightly, or tightly roll the whole thing then slice.
9Place in greased 9x13 pan. Cover & let rise ~30 more min.
10Pour warm heavy cream over the rolls right before baking.
11Bake at 350°F for 22-28 min until golden.
12While it bakes, brown the butter over medium heat in a saucepan until nutty and golden. Cool until soft.
13To make the icing, beat cream cheese and brown butter together until smooth. Then beat in powdered sugar and vanilla.
14Spread over warm rolls. Top with banana slices and some cinnamon.
