Directions

  1. 1Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
  2. 2Add oil to the pan.
  3. 3Add pre-cut onions and peppers to the pan and stir until cooked, meaning the onions are translucent and the colors are squishier.
  4. 4Add the ground beef (85% lean) to the pan with the vegetables and break it up.
  5. 5Cook the meat until it's brown, ensuring it reaches 165 degrees (or 170 degrees) using a food thermometer.
  6. 6Add a little salt to the meat and vegetables.
  7. 7Add tomato paste to the pan and mix it well with the meat and vegetables.
  8. 8Add one can of black beans, one can of red beans, and one can of pinto beans to the pan, including the bean juice.
  9. 9Stir everything up really well and let it simmer for a bit.
  10. 10Add paprika, garlic salt, chili powder (a fair amount), and a lot of cumin to the mixture.
  11. 11Mix all the spices into the chili until the ancestors I wish that I had scream at me to stop.
  12. 12Heat the chili until it seems like food.
  13. 13Right before eating, add frozen corn to bring down the temperature.
  14. 14Serve the chili in a bowl.

  17. 17To reheat, put it back in a pot and heat until edible.

Tips

  • If you don't like a specific ingredient, simply omit it, unless it's beans.
  • You can make this in a pot for a slower cook.
  • You can continue to cook it all in the same pot even if you undercook something.
  • It's not autism chow if you don't vocal stim the whole time you're making it, otherwise it's just a three bean chili.
