1Add 5 cups of shredded green cabbage, 2 segmented oranges, 1 diced avocado, 1 cup of sliced green onions, and a quarter cup of cilantro into a bowl.
2Cube two chicken breasts, season with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of onion powder, then cook until nice and brown on the outside.
3Toss the cooked chicken on top of the salad.
4Add a quarter cup of slivered almonds and two tablespoons of sesame seeds into a pan, toast them up, and then toss them on the salad.
5Into a mason jar, add in a half cup of sesame oil, a quarter cup of maple syrup, a third of a cup of low sodium soy sauce, three tablespoons of rice wine vinegar, three tablespoons of fresh ginger, the zest of an orange, and about a tablespoon of fresh orange juice.
6Give the mason jar a good shake to mix the dressing.
7Pour the dressing over the salad and mix it up.
