Directions

Place country style ribs in a bowl or prep tub.

Coat with mustard as a binder.

Season with your favorite barbecue rub.

Turn on your smoker to 250 degrees.

Place the ribs on the smoker for 3 hours.

Transfer the ribs to an aluminum pan.

Sprinkle on a little bit of brown sugar.

Add a few pats of butter.

Drizzle on your favorite barbecue sauce.

Add red pepper flakes for spice.

Wrap the pan in foil and place it back on the smoker.

Cook for another hour and a half to two hours until probe tender.

Let the ribs rest, then dig in.

Tips
Country-style ribs aren't ribs at all, but they’re tender, affordable & delicious.
They come from the pork shoulder and can be boneless or bone-in.
Smoke them the same way you smoke your pork butts.
