Broccoli Beef with Noodles

  1. 1Welcome back to my series where I show you high-protein recipes that aren't boring or time-consuming.
  2. 2Today we're making broccoli beef with noodles, and this only took me 30 minutes to make.
  3. 3Start off by cutting some top sirloin into thin strips.
  4. 4Transfer the beef to a medium bowl.
  5. 5Add soy sauce, cornstarch, and baking soda to the beef. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  6. 6Boil some protein pasta until al dente, then set it aside.
  7. 7In a measuring cup, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, brown sugar, dark soy sauce, and cornstarch. Mix and set aside.
  8. 8Steam a whole head of broccoli for a minute, then set it aside.
  9. 9On high heat, fry up the beef in a single layer until it develops a beautiful golden brown crust.
  10. 10Add back the broccoli with minced garlic and ginger. Cook for a few more minutes.
  11. 11Add the pasta and the sauce to the pan and mix well.
  12. 12Serve up the noodles, top off with green onions and sesame seeds.

  • 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons ginger
  • 8 oz protein spaghetti pasta
  • green onions
  • sesame seeds

Tips

  • Baking soda helps tenderize the meat.
