Sloppy Joe Cornbread Casserole
Directions
- 1Mix two boxes of Jiffy Cornbread mix according to package instructions.
- 2Add two cans of diced green chilies and one can of whole kernel sweet corn (drained) to the cornbread mix and whisk together.
- 3Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- 4Pour cornbread mix into the prepared baking dish.
- 5Brown one pound of ground beef, drain, and add one can of Sloppy Joe sauce.
- 6Spread the Sloppy Joe mixture over the cornbread batter.
- 7Swirl the Sloppy Joe mixture into the cornbread batter.
- 8Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
- 9Add a handful of cheese to the top and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
