1Into a bowl, add five cups of shredded green cabbage, two oranges all segmented up, one avocado diced, one cup of sliced green onions, and a quarter cup of cilantro all sliced.
2Cube up two chicken breasts, season with one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of pepper, one teaspoon of garlic powder, and one teaspoon of onion powder. Cook until it is nicely browned on the outside.
3Toss the cooked chicken on top of the salad.
4In a pan, toast a quarter cup of slivered almonds and two tablespoons of sesame seeds.
5Toss the toasted almonds and sesame seeds on the salad.
6Into a mason jar, add in half a cup of sesame oil, a quarter cup of maple syrup, a third of a cup of soy sauce (low sodium), three tablespoons of rice wine vinegar, three tablespoons of fresh ginger, the zest of an orange, and about a tablespoon of fresh orange juice.
