Directions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2Cut off both ends of the onions.
  3. 3Peel the onions.
  4. 4Hollow out the core of the onions.
  5. 5Fill the hollowed-out center of each onion with butter.
  6. 6Melt a stick of butter in the microwave for the sauce.
  7. 7Season the melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, oregano leaves, Old Bay seasoning, garlic, and black pepper.
  8. 8Stir the sauce until all the ingredients are combined.
  9. 9Place the onions on a sheet of tin foil on a baking sheet.
  10. 10Pour the prepared sauce over each onion.
  11. 11Sprinkle additional seasonings (garlic powder and black pepper) on top of the onions.
  12. 12Carefully fold the tin foil around each onion, ensuring it is sealed and not punctured.
  13. 13Pop the foil-wrapped onions into the preheated oven.
  14. 14Cook for 90 minutes.
  15. 15Finish the cooked onions with any extra sauce.
