Directions

  1. 1Add lean ground beef, diced onions, pizza sauce, and seasonings to the slow cooker.
  2. 2Mix all ingredients together.
  3. 3Top with chopped turkey pepperoni.
  4. 4Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 3-4 hours.
  5. 5Once cooked, break apart the meat.
  6. 6Add half-cooked pasta (shells recommended) and give it a quick mix.
  7. 7Pour over the blended high protein cheese sauce (made from cottage cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano, milk, salt, and pepper).
  8. 8Cover and let it finish cooking for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  9. 9While the mac and cheese cooks, make crispy prosciutto topping by tossing 6-7 slices of prosciutto straight into the oven.
  10. 10Bake prosciutto at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes until perfectly crispy.
  11. 11Break the crispy prosciutto apart into small pieces and crumble over the top of the mac and cheese.
  12. 12Allocate into 10 servings and store frozen.
  13. 13Garnish with chives and oregano if desired.
