French onion crunch chicken

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. 2Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  3. 3Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  4. 4Lay chicken in a single layer in the dish.
  5. 5Sprinkle thyme, salt, and pepper directly over the chicken.
  6. 6Spread the french onion dip over the chicken like frosting.
  7. 7Scatter green beans around and between the chicken.
  8. 8Top everything with shredded gruyère.
  9. 9Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, until chicken reaches 165° internally.
  10. 10Remove from oven and sprinkle crushed potato chips + french fried onions over the top.
  11. 11Return to oven for 8–10 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  12. 12Let rest 10–15 minutes before serving so it thickens.

  • 1 cup potato chips, crushed
  • 1 cup french fried onions
