Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks

Directions

  1. 1Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, cut the mozzarella sticks in half, and set aside.
  2. 2Whisk the eggs in a bowl until smooth.
  3. 3Stir the flour, garlic powder, and salt together in a second bowl.
  4. 4Stir together the breadcrumbs and parsley in a third bowl.
  5. 5Dip one mozzarella stick into the egg bowl, allowing excess to drip off, then coat completely in the flour.
  6. 6Dip the stick back into the egg mixture and then coat completely in the breadcrumb mixture.
  7. 7Place on the lined cookie sheet and freeze for 25 minutes.
  8. 8Once frozen, repeat the process of dipping each stick into the egg mixture and then into the breadcrumbs.
  9. 9Place back into the freezer for at least 25 minutes.
  10. 10Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
  11. 11Spray the air fryer and the mozzarella sticks with cooking spray.
  12. 12Place the mozzarella sticks in the air fryer and cook for five to seven minutes, flipping at four minutes if necessary.
  13. 13Remove from the air fryer when the cheese starts to bubble and allow to cool slightly before serving.
