Low Sugar High Protein Cookie Dough Balls

Directions

  1. 1Mix peanut butter, almond flour, maple syrup, vanilla, sea salt and protein powder until a dough forms.
  2. 2Fold in the mini chocolate chips and roll into balls.
  3. 3Freeze the cookie dough balls.
  4. 4Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil and coat each cookie dough ball in the chocolate.
  5. 5Freeze again until the chocolate coating is set.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 2-3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Tips

  • If the dough is too wet, add more protein powder or almond flour.
  • If the dough is too dry, add more peanut butter or maple syrup.
  • Store in the fridge or freezer.
  • You can substitute cashew butter for the natural peanut butter.
