Mango Jerk Wings

Directions

  1. 1Blend mango, cayenne, garlic, thyme, allspice, cinnamon, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, olive oil, and salt until smooth to create the marinade.
  2. 2Reserve a few tablespoons of the marinade for the glaze.
  3. 3Score the chicken wings and coat them thoroughly in the remaining marinade, then refrigerate overnight.
  4. 4Air fry the wings at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flip them, and air fry for an additional 10–12 minutes.
  5. 5In a pan, cook the reserved marinade with butter and honey until the mixture is thick and glossy, adding water if it becomes too thick.
  6. 6Toss the cooked wings in the glaze and garnish with fresh cilantro, red chili peppers, and cubed mangoes before serving.

Tips

  • You can score the chicken wings or leave them whole.
  • The recipe creator used 1 tsp of cayenne as a substitute for 2 scotch bonnet peppers.
  • Add more air frying time if preferred.
  • Add water to the glaze if it gets too thick.
