Directions

  1. 1Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until a dough forms.
  2. 2Roll the dough out between two sheets of baking paper until about 1/2 cm thick.
  3. 3Cut out the shapes using a cookie cutter.
  4. 4Place cookies onto a lined tray and bake at 160°C for 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. 5Let them cool completely so they crisp up.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil or butter
  • 2 tbsp milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Tips

  • If the dough is too dry, add a splash more milk until it reaches the right consistency.
  • You can use star-shaped cookie cutters if you don't have a teddy-shaped one.
  • The cookies keep well in an airtight container for up to a week.
