Oreo Cookies
Directions
- 1Add butter, brown sugar, and white sugar to a bowl.
- 2Mix until smooth and fluffy.
- 3Add 1 egg and 1 egg yolk.
- 4Mix well.
- 5Add vanilla extract and mix.
- 6In a separate bowl, add all-purpose flour, black cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 7Whisk the dry ingredients together.
- 8Chop the Oreos.
- 9Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
- 10Fold to combine.
- 11Add white chocolate chips and most of the chopped Oreos, saving some for later.
- 12Mix thoroughly.
- 13Scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 14Set the scooped cookies in the fridge for an hour.
- 15Bake at 350°F for 11-15 minutes depending on size.
- 16Let the cookies cool fully.
- 17For the frosting, cream together cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- 18Add a pinch of salt.
- 19Add vanilla bean paste.
- 20Add powdered sugar.
- 21Mix until combined, adding milk or cream as needed to thin it out.
- 22Pipe the cream cheese frosting onto the fully cooled cookies.
- 23Sprinkle with reserved Oreo crumbs.

- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk/cream
