In a cast iron skillet, combine two sticks of butter, 1 1/2 cups of light brown sugar, two generous scoops of cherry jam, 1 1/2 cups of orange juice, and 1/2 cup of bourbon.
Add the zest of one orange and then squeeze the juice of the orange into the skillet.
Place the skillet on a smoker under a ham.
Let it go for about two and a half hours, stirring occasionally and basting the ham every half hour.
Once cooked, pour the glaze over the ham to your liking.
