Sticky Asian inspired meatballs

Directions

  1. 1Add panko breadcrumbs into a bowl.
  2. 2Add milk and mix.
  3. 3Let the panko breadcrumbs soak up the milk for a minute or two.
  4. 4Add diced shallot and garlic cloves.
  5. 5Add diced green onion (light ends).
  6. 6Add grated carrot.
  7. 7Add grated ginger (about a quarter teaspoon).
  8. 8Add ground pork.
  9. 9Add a couple of tablespoons of soy sauce.
  10. 10Add an egg.
  11. 11Add a little bit of salt and some black pepper.
  12. 12Mix until well combined and an even consistency.
  13. 13Roll the mixture into small balls (about this big).
  14. 14Line them up on a sheet pan.
  15. 15Bake these at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes.

Tips
