Pickled shrimp

Directions

  1. 1Add onion and jalapeno to a large mixing bowl.
  2. 2Add a large lemon, a tablespoon of Worcestershire (or more), half a cup of Melinda's Mexicana hot sauce (or preferred hot sauce), a quarter cup of extra virgin olive oil, and two tablespoons of Cajun seasoning.
  3. 3Add a quarter cup of apple cider vinegar, a couple tablespoons of garlic jalapeno rub (or salt, pepper, garlic), and two tablespoons of red pepper flake.
  4. 4Add the cooked shrimp to the bowl.
  5. 5Mix all ingredients well in the bowl.
  6. 6Transfer the mixture to a mason jar.
  7. 7Top off the jar with water.
  8. 8Seal the jar and place it in the refrigerator for at least a week to marinate and develop flavor.
