Slow Cooker Golden Mushroom Pot Roast

Directions

  1. 1Sear a 2 to 3 pound chuck roast in your crock pot.
  2. 2In a mixing bowl, add two cans of golden mushroom soup.
  3. 3Add one packet of beefy onion soup mix to the bowl.
  4. 4Add about three-quarters of a can of evaporated milk to the bowl.
  5. 5Whisk the ingredients in the bowl until beautifully combined.
  6. 6Pour the mixture all over the chuck roast, completely covering it.
  7. 7Put the lid on your crock pot and set it to low for 10 hours or high for six to eight hours.
  8. 8Once cooked, take the lid off and check if the roast is fork tender; it should pull apart easily.
  9. 9Shred the pot roast in the juices.
  10. 10Serve in a bowl, optionally sprinkling parsley on top for garnish.
