Sear a 2 to 3 pound chuck roast in your crock pot.

In a mixing bowl, add two cans of golden mushroom soup.

Add one packet of beefy onion soup mix to the bowl.

Add about three-quarters of a can of evaporated milk to the bowl.

Whisk the ingredients in the bowl until beautifully combined.

Pour the mixture all over the chuck roast, completely covering it.

Put the lid on your crock pot and set it to low for 10 hours or high for six to eight hours.

Once cooked, take the lid off and check if the roast is fork tender; it should pull apart easily.

Shred the pot roast in the juices.

Serve in a bowl, optionally sprinkling parsley on top for garnish.

Tips
You can add potatoes or carrots under the chuck roast in the crock pot.
Sear the chuck roast if desired.
The golden mushroom gravy does not need to be thickened.
Serve over a bed of mashed potatoes if not cooked with the roast.
