Directions

  1. 1Melt the butter in the microwave.
  2. 2Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg yolk to the melted butter.
  3. 3Whisk the mixture together.
  4. 4Add all-purpose flour and whisk again, but not fully incorporate it yet.
  5. 5Add chocolate chips to the mixture.
  6. 6Cook in the microwave for one minute, pausing halfway through.
  7. 7Add a few more chocolate chips on top of the cooked cookie.
  8. 8Let the cookie cool slightly before tasting.

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 heaping tablespoons all-purpose flour
