Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.

Add the au jus gravy mix.

Add the garlic.

Add the frozen chopped onions.

Add the pomegranate juice.

Add the beef broth.

Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

After 2 hours, flip the meat.

Add the Southern seasonings: Worcestershire sauce, chicken bouillon cubes, bay leaves, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.

Add the baby carrots and potatoes.
