Directions

  1. 1Make the custard.
  2. 2Spread the custard evenly on a tray.
  3. 3Level the top of the custard with a spatula.
  4. 4Place a layer of white topping, possibly icing sugar or a solidified glaze, on top of the custard.
  5. 5Let the custard sit for about two hours.
  6. 6Cut the vanilla slice into individual portions.
