Air Fryer Chatpata Aloo Bhujiya

Directions

  1. 1Soak the thinly sliced potatoes in water for 15–20 minutes.
  2. 2Drain well.
  3. 3Place in an airfryer lined with parchment paper.
  4. 4Add salt and a few sprays of oil.
  5. 5Airfry at 180°C for 15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. 6Add the peanuts to the airfryer, increase to 200 C and fry again for 5 more minutes.
  7. 7Meanwhile, heat mustard oil in a small pan.
  8. 8Add red chillies, garlic, and onion with a pinch of salt.
  9. 9Sauté until browned and softened.
  10. 10Lightly mash the sautéed mix with your hands or a spoon.
  11. 11Toss in the airfried potatoes and peanuts.
  12. 12Add chilli powder, chaat masala, coriander, lemon juice, and black salt if using.
  13. 13Mix well.
  14. 14Serve immediately with chai or as a side to dal-chawal.

  • 2 dry red chillies
  • 3 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 0.25 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 0.5 tsp chaat masala
  • Fresh coriander, chopped
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • pinch of black salt

Tips
