Directions

  1. 1Add 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste to 1 kilogram of chicken.
  2. 2Add 1 teaspoon of cumin to the chicken.
  3. 3Add 1 teaspoon of dry coriander powder to the chicken.
  4. 4Add 0.5 teaspoon of garam masala to the chicken.
  5. 5Add 1 teaspoon of red chili to the chicken.
  6. 6Add 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri red chili to the chicken.
  7. 7Add 0.25 teaspoon of turmeric to the chicken.
  8. 8Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the chicken.
  9. 9Add 0.5 cup of yogurt to the chicken, ensuring there is no water in it.
  10. 10Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the chicken.
  11. 11Mix all ingredients well with the chicken and let it rest for 2 hours.
  12. 12In 0.5 cup of ghee, add 3-4 chopped garlic cloves.
  13. 13Add 0.5 sliced onion to the ghee and garlic.
  14. 14Fry the garlic and onion for 4-5 minutes on medium heat.
  15. 15Add the marinated chicken to the pot.
  16. 16Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on medium heat.
  17. 17Cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes.
  18. 18In 1 cup of fried onion, add 3-4 garlic cloves, 3 dry red chilies, and cardamom.
  19. 19Make a thick paste of the fried onion mixture without adding water.
  20. 20Add 2 tablespoons of the garlic masala paste to the chicken.
  21. 21Cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat.
  22. 22Add 3-4 green chilies and chopped coriander.
  23. 23The Hyderabadi chicken garlic masala is now ready.

  • 1 handful Coriander
