1Crack two eggs into a bowl and whisk with two tablespoons of soy sauce.
2Cut two chicken breasts into even cubes.
3Place the chicken pieces into the egg and soy mixture and mix well to coat.
4In a small saucepan, combine a quarter cup of water, a quarter cup of honey, two tablespoons of tomato sauce, one teaspoon of five spice, one teaspoon of cinnamon and one teaspoon of clove.
5Add the zest and juice of one lemon to the saucepan.
6Heat the saucepan on medium heat until it begins to bubble and thicken, then set aside.
7Add four tablespoons of cornflour to the chicken mixture and mix well until there are no lumps.
8Heat vegetable oil in a wok to 180 degrees Celsius.
9Carefully add chicken to the hot oil in batches, cooking until golden brown.
10Remove and drain the chicken on a rack for 2-3 minutes.
11Toss the cooked chicken with the sauce and a handful of sesame seeds and a few drizzles of sesame oil.
12Serve the honey sesame chicken over a bowl of rice. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
