Directions

  1. 1Core the apples.
  2. 2Mix together butter, brown sugar, pecans, oats and cinnamon.
  3. 3Stuff the apples with the mixture.
  4. 4Wrap each apple individually in parchment paper and then in aluminum foil.
  5. 5Place the wrapped apples in campfire coals or charcoal embers.
  6. 6Cook for about 20 minutes, or until the apples are tender but not mushy.
