Directions

Place the frozen turkey in the smoker at 450 degrees.

After 30 minutes, check on the turkey. It should be starting to caramelize.

Flip the turkey and continue cooking.

Once the turkey is caramelized, lower the smoker temperature to 270 degrees.

After 45 minutes, move the turkey to an aluminum pan.

Sprinkle brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, and Lawry's seasoning salt over the turkey.

Pour one can of Dr. Pepper over the turkey.

Wrap the turkey in aluminum foil.

Place the foil wrapped turkey back in the smoker for four hours.

Check the temperature of the turkey. It should be at 165 degrees.

Once the turkey is at 165 degrees, remove it from the smoker and let it rest.
