Directions

  1. 1Start by mixing sour cream, mayonnaise, horseradish, ketchup, and a pinch of cayenne for a tangy dipping sauce.

  3. 3Dice 1 onion.
  4. 4Mix with salt and let it sit for 15 minutes to draw out moisture.
  5. 5Rinse well and drain.
  6. 6Transfer to a dry bowl.
  7. 7Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and a little cayenne.

  9. 9Then add milk to form a thick batter.
