Directions
- 1Fry up chicken dogs until lightly brown and set aside.
- 2Make garlic butter by melting salted butter and combining it with grated garlic and chopped parsley.
- 3Brush hot dog buns with garlic butter before toasting them in the oven until lightly brown.
- 4Combine AP flour with garlic and onion powder, dried oregano, and salt and pepper in one bowl.
- 5Combine eggs with marinara sauce in another bowl.
- 6Combine Italian breadcrumbs with grated parmesan cheese in a third bowl.
- 7Coat the chicken dog in flour, then egg wash, then breadcrumbs, then repeat for a double dredge.
- 8Drop them in 350° cooking oil for 3 minutes until lightly golden brown.
- 9Add some marinara to the bottom of the bun.
- 10Place the chicken dog on top.
- 11Add some more marinara on top of the dog.
- 12Place a couple slices of provolone between the dog and the bun.
- 13Garnish with parsley.
- 14Put it in the oven on broil until the cheese is golden brown and melted.
