Quarter up six tomatoes.

Transfer the quartered tomatoes to a baking tray.

Quarter up a red bell pepper and an orange bell pepper.

Add olive oil, a good amount of salt and pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and a nice drizzle of balsamic to the vegetables.

Toss the vegetables and bake in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 to 35 minutes.

Mince about 25 cloves of garlic.

Dice one onion.

Add olive oil and butter to a pot.

Add all of the diced onion and about two-thirds of the minced garlic to the pot and cook for about five minutes.

Add one whole can of tomato paste to the pot.

Put the roasted vegetables on broil in the oven.

Stir the tomato paste around for a couple of minutes to let it cook.

Dump the finished vegetables from the oven into the pot with the tomato paste and onions.

Add two cups of chicken broth and various seasonings to the pot.

Blend the soup using an immersion blender or a regular blender until smooth.

Add one cup of heavy cream to the soup.

Keep the tomato soup warm.

Prepare the garlic butter by combining a stick of butter, the remaining minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Spread a thin layer of garlic butter onto the inside of the bread.

Toast the garlic buttered bread in the oven for about 10 minutes.

Layer mozzarella, sharp cheddar, and smoked gouda cheeses onto the toasted bread.

Apply more butter to the outside of the bread.

Grill the cheese sandwiches on medium-low heat until the cheese is melted evenly and the bread is golden.

1 stick stick of butter

Tips
For the grilled cheese, use medium-low heat so the cheese melts evenly without burning the bread.
