In a bowl, add the grated cheeses and crumbled feta, along with the self-raising flour, egg, milk and black pepper. Mix until it’s well combined.

Take about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball, and repeat with the rest of the mixture.

In a separate bowl, place the plain flour. Coat each ball in the flour and set aside.

In a frying pan, heat up the vegetable oil.

You’ll know if the oil is hot enough by dipping a wooden spoon and seeing bubbles around it.

Fry the balls for 2-3 minutes on both sides until golden.

Place on a plate with kitchen roll to drain the excess oil and enjoy whilst hot.

65 g cheddar cheese, grated
65 g Gruyere cheese, grated
130 g feta, crumbled
1 egg
30 g self-raising flour
1 dash milk
1 dash Crushed black pepper
30 g plain flour
1 dash Veg oil for frying

Tips
