Corn Dog Casserole

Directions

  1. 1Add 1 1/2 cups of milk, 2 boxes of Jiffy cornbread mix, 2 eggs, hot sauce, mustard, and pepper to a bowl.
  2. 2Add one can of corn to the mixture.
  3. 3Add one pack of sliced and fried hot dogs to the mixture.
  4. 4Add about three-quarters of an 8 oz package of sharp cheddar cheese to the mixture, reserving some for the top.
  5. 5Mix all the ingredients together.
  6. 6Add some green onions to the mixture.
  7. 7Spray down a 9x13 dish.
  8. 8Pour the mixture into the prepared dish.
  9. 9Throw the rest of the cheese over the top of the mixture.
  10. 10Cook the casserole uncovered in a preheated 400-degree oven for about half an hour until it's nice and golden brown.

Tips

  • You can skip the can of corn if desired.
  • Feel free to add green chilies or diced tomatoes for variation.
  • Keep some cheese aside to put on top of the casserole.
