Homemade Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper

Directions

  1. 1Chop the ground beef, even if it's still frozen.
  2. 2Brown the beef until it's crispy and no longer gray.
  3. 3Drain the grease from the beef using a paper towel.
  4. 4Add a couple of tablespoons of mustard to the browned beef for a burger taste.
  5. 5Add about a quarter cup of ketchup.
  6. 6Pour in a healthy splash of your favorite pickle juice.
  7. 7Add diced onion, garlic salt, and pepper.
  8. 8Squirt in a healthy amount of tomato paste.
  9. 9Add beef broth.
  10. 10Stir the mixture and bring it to a simmer.
  11. 11Add a whole bag of egg noodles to the pot.
  12. 12Place a lid on the pot and allow it to simmer on medium heat until most of the liquid is absorbed and the noodles are done.
  13. 13Add a whole bag of various types of cheese.
  14. 14If not cheesy enough, add slices of cheddar cheese; the shape doesn't matter as it will melt.
  15. 15Stir everything together until the cheese is melted and incorporated.

  • 1 healthy squirt tomato paste
  • Beef broth
  • 1 whole bag egg noodles
  • 1 whole bag various types of cheese
  • cheddar cheese slices
