Directions

Add 4 cups of all-purpose flour to a large bowl.

Add 1 tablespoon of instant dry yeast.

Add 2 teaspoons of kosher salt.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.

Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

Add 3/4 cup of plain yogurt or buttermilk.

Add 1 cup of warm water.

Mix all the ingredients to combine until a dough forms.

Transfer the dough to a wooden board floured surface.

Use a dough scraper to cut the dough into 8 pieces.

Roll each piece into a small ball.

Roll out each dough ball into an oval shape with a rolling pin.

Cook the naan in a hot cast iron skillet until charred spots appear and it puffs up.

Flip the naan and cook the other side until charred.

Brush the cooked naan with melted butter and minced cilantro.

Drench that gluten-y goodness with melted butter.
The Naan is soft and stretchy with wonderful charred bubbles and delicious flavor.
