Directions

  1. 1Whisk together melted butter and sugar until light in color.
  2. 2Add one egg and vanilla and whisk until combined.
  3. 3Add plain flour, cornflour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt and fold until just combined.
  4. 4Roughly crush up about six Oreos and fold them into the mix.
  5. 5Refrigerate the dough.
  6. 6Roll the dough into balls.
  7. 7Place the dough balls on a baking tray and press down gently.
  8. 8Bake in the oven.
  9. 9Let the cookies cool.
  10. 10For the icing, whisk together softened butter, cream cheese and vanilla until smooth.
  11. 11Gradually whisk in the icing sugar.
  12. 12Pipe the icing onto your cookies and smooth it out.
  13. 13Top with crushed Oreos.
