Directions

  1. 1Start off with your avocados and cut it crosswise.
  2. 2Chop up the other ingredients like tomatoes and yellow onion.
  3. 3Make your sauce, which is a blend of plum extract syrup, soy sauce, water, and sugar. Mix it up until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. 4Grab an airtight container and shingle those avocados because you want the sauce to penetrate all parts of the avocado.
  5. 5Add the rest of the ingredients: tomatoes cut side up, yellow onions, and slices of lemon.
  6. 6Pour the marinade over the ingredients.
  7. 7Cover it and refrigerate for 1 to 3 hours. Do not exceed this time, or it will get too soggy and too salty.
  8. 8Enjoy with some rice, optionally adding an egg.
