Kentucky Butter Cake Cookies
Directions
- 1In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla using a hand mixer.
- 2Add the eggs and mix using the hand mixer.
- 3Add the flour, baking powder and salt, and mix until combined.
- 4Scoop out equal-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet, flatten them, and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
- 5In a saucepan, melt together the butter, powdered sugar, water, and vanilla over medium heat, let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
- 6Once the cookies are cooled, brush the glaze over them.
- 7Sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the cookies.

- 1 2 tsp water
- 1 2 tsp vanilla
