Directions

  1. 1Combine dates, flour, cocoa powder, optional protein powder, maple syrup, nut butter, and salt in a blender or food processor.
  2. 2Pulse the mixture until combined, warming it in the microwave briefly if needed to help it blend.
  3. 3Add cacao nibs to the mixture.
  4. 4Shape the mixture into large balls.
  5. 5Place the balls in the fridge to set.

  • 1 1/2 cup dates
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp chocolate protein powder (optional)
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp nut butter
  • to taste salt
  • to taste cacao nibs

Equipment

Tips

  • Use a generous amount of salt.
  • Cacao nibs can be used as a substitute for shredded coconut.
