Directions

  1. 1Zest and juice lemons.
  2. 2Mix sugar and lemon zest in a bowl.
  3. 3Cream together butter and sugar in a stand mixer.
  4. 4Add eggs and vanilla extract to the mixer.
  5. 5Add flour, baking soda and salt to the mixture.
  6. 6Mix until combined.
  7. 7Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, which has been previously sprinkled with sugar.
  8. 8Bake cookies at 350°F (175°C).

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
