Directions
- 1Cook ground beef in a frying pan, breaking it up with a spatula.
- 2Add garlic powder, onion powder, Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning, and dried oregano to the beef.
- 3Add onions to the beef mixture.
- 4Add a can of tomato sauce to the beef mixture.
- 5Add water to the empty can of tomato sauce, swish it around, and add it to the beef mixture.
- 6Add salt to boiling water in a pot.
- 7Add egg noodles to the boiling water and cook according to package directions.
- 8Add a pinch of sugar to the noodles.
- 9In a glass bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream.
- 10Add Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning to the cream cheese and sour cream mixture and whisk until combined.
- 11Drain the cooked egg noodles and add them to the cream cheese and sour cream mixture.
- 12Mix the noodles and cream cheese mixture until combined.
- 13Layer half of the meat sauce in a baking dish.
- 14Layer half of the noodle mixture on top of the meat sauce.
- 15Add half of the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the noodle mixture.
- 16Layer the remaining meat sauce on top of the cheese.
- 17Layer the remaining noodle mixture on top of the meat sauce.
- 18Add the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top of the noodle mixture.
- 19Bake in the oven until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
