Roast two onions, a brinjal, and a sweet potato on a grill over a gas stove.

Peel the roasted brinjal and slice it.

Transfer the sliced brinjal to a blender.

Peel and chop the roasted onions.

Add the chopped onions to the blender.

Add cumin seeds, poppy seeds, coriander seeds, black peppercorns, cardamom, star anise, cinnamon stick, and black cardamom to a bowl.

Peel garlic cloves and slice ginger.

Add dried red chilies, peeled garlic, and sliced ginger to the bowl with spices.

Mix all the ingredients in the bowl.

Transfer the mixed spices and other ingredients to the blender.

Blend all the ingredients into a paste.

Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker.

Peel the boiled potatoes.

Mash the peeled potatoes in a bowl.

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and green chilies.

Add chopped onions to the pan.

Add salt and turmeric powder to the pan.

Add the mashed potatoes to the pan and mix well.

Add curry leaves to the potato mixture and mix.

Boil sprouted moth beans in water with salt and turmeric powder.

Drain the boiled sprouted moth beans.

Chop an onion finely.

Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onion.

Add red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, and misal masala to the pan.

Add the blended paste to the pan and mix.

Add water to the pan and let it simmer.

Pour some of the prepared curry into a separate bowl.

Add chopped coriander to the curry.

Serve the misal pav with a side of chopped onions, lemon, and pav.

Add the potato mixture and sprouted moth beans to a plate.

Top with Farsan.

Pour the prepared misal curry over the Farsan and other ingredients.

1 wedge Lemon
